Our Story
Puchi is a French bistro founded by two brothers, Alex and Bernard.
We come from a family of restaurateurs and grew up in kitchens, learning the ropes early from our mother.
In 2019, we took over her restaurant, ARIDO, before diving into this new adventure.
Opening our own bistro felt like a natural next step, driven by one clear desire: to serve authentic French cuisine, centered around wood-fire cooking using our charcoal oven.
When we found this little restaurant, we were instantly charmed by its quiet personality.
Modest in size, but with a large terrace — it perfectly captured the spirit we wanted to share.
We named it Puchi, a Japanese word inspired by the French "petit", reflecting both the small scale of the place and our love for simple, well-crafted things.
